Hi all! Goldie's leg that I've been working on for the past few months is finally getting close to being done! (except for all the little details that go on it, and the paint :P) My dad and me got alot of the layers permanently glued on today with some Weld-on glue for styrene. We should be getting the last layer glued on, and sanding up the edges, getting it nice and smooth and then skinning it tommorrow. So that will be one leg completed! It will be much faster to build the next leg now that we figured out how to build the first completely styrene leg, so Goldie should be on legs for Ancient City Con here in Jacksonville, FL. YESSSS!!

Thought it'd be a good idea to start a journal about Star Wars droid building for those of you that are interested in building your very own astromech. ;) I mainly know about building droids out of polystyrene and aluminum so, anywho...
